March is here! Isn’t that exciting? For us, March is the month of anticipation (as well as the month when you realize it’s time to clean the windows). Even this week’s sweep is full of anticipation. For example, how about sleep, stress and nori rolls with parsnip rice for a blissful mixture?
We start with sleep because right now that subject hits a little close to home. After a fall and winter with less than optimal sleep, one of us (Mia) has finally started to sleep a little better. This week, we interviewed nutritionist Maria Berglund Rantén about the link between autoimmune diseases and sleep and how insomnia weakens the immune system. Interesting reading! Read more here.

Had lunch with one of the world’s most sympathetic people Helena Önneby just a few weeks ago, and ironically we were late and arrived stressing over it. We say ironically because her latest article is about stress. Helena works out common misconceptions about stress, for example that all stress is evil. Just like Dr. Rangan Chatterjee (listen here to our interview about stress with him), Helena emphasizes that it is micro stress that is harmful and that prevents us from get the recovery we need.
