How to Make Magic Self-hardening Chocolate Sauce
Go ahead, here you have a magic chocolate sauce with a big C. Yes, it is really magical because as soon as you pour this sauce over something cold, it will harden.
And as the “icing on the cake” so to speak, the list of ingredients is short. Dark (70%) chocolate, peanut butter and coconut oil. You can skip the peanut butter if you wish – we added it for the sake of taste because we think it’s much tastier when we add it.
What are you going to pour it over then? Our best tip is to mix frozen fruit or berries. Frozen banana or frozen strawberries are our favorite right now. Let them thaw for about 5-10 minutes at room temperature, so that they become slightly less rock hard but still very cold. Do you need to add in any liquid? Not really. We think it’s the absolute best consistency if you just mix the fruit right upside down.
If you do not want to serve the nice cream directly, it is also good to put your nice cream in a bowl, drizzle over the chocolate sauce and then let it stand and solidify for a while in the freezer.
