The Fasting Mimicking Diet: How It Works
How nice that you’ve found your way here. Maybe you’re here because you’ve started reading about the many health benefits of fasting. Maybe you’ve heard about fasting-mimicking diets and are curious to try it for yourself. Or maybe something else sparked your interest.
Whatever brought you here — welcome.
Here’s how the program works.
You purchase the program and follow it for five days. On day one you eat around 1,100 calories. From day two to five, the intake drops slightly to about 750 calories per day.
During the program you eat three meals a day: breakfast, lunch and dinner.
All meals are built with the same balance of macronutrients and calories, which means you can easily swap meals between days. If you love a certain dish, feel free to eat a little more of that one and less of another. The program is designed to be flexible and easy to follow.
All recipes are gluten-free and fully plant-based, made with a small selection of carefully chosen ingredients that are simple to prepare. Most meals also work perfectly as lunch boxes to bring to work, if needed.
The only important rule is to stick to the specified amounts. For that reason, a reliable kitchen scale and measuring spoons are essential during the program.
