1 cup frozen green peas, thawed
150 g dried yellow peas
1 yellow onion, diced
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 Tbsp vegetable bouillon (or one cube)
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 tsp paprika
2 Tbsp tahini
organic virgin coconut oil for frying
Soak the yellow peas for 8 hours/overnight. Pour off the water and rinse thoroughly. Add the yellow peas to a food processor with the green peas, onion. parsley, bouillon, paprika and tahini. Mix into a smooth batter. Roll the batter into round balls and fry in a frying pan while gently rotating until cooked through. Eat with whatever your heart desires.
Wet your hands while rolling the falafels to prevent the batter from sticking to your hands!
