Current Reads On FP: AIP, Sugar-Free Parties And Waffle Day
This was, to say the least, a special week. The situation around the world is super-strange and it is almost difficult to understand that what is happening is really happening. That said, we think it can be nice to read about other things than Covid-19, don’t you? If you agree, you’re welcome to read below about what’s been happening on FP this last week!
We start with our newest member of the FP family – Cecilia Nisbet Nilsson. This week she has published an article on the elimination diet, AIP (autoimmune diet). Very interesting reading for those with chronic autoimmune disease, allergies and stomach problems. Read here!
Ann Fernholm has also published a new article about children and celebrations sans sugar. She also shares one of her books best recipes for raspberry muffins here.
You didn’t miss it was Waffle Day this week did you? Well, incase you did we thought we should highlight the chocolate banana waffles we made yesterday. We altered the banana egg pancake recipe that took the world by storm a few years ago into a waffle. You can skip the chocolate if you want but either way these waffles are a winner!
We also noticed that a few of FP’s easter recipes hopped into the popular category on the site, which got us thinking about easter… we had planned to go to a family cabin but with the ways things are looking right now perhaps we will just be enjoying an easter buffet at home! Speaking of which here are a few great easter recipes to help you plan your buffet –
