Chocolate Dipped Marzipan Balls
We love sweets and on Christmas Eve we love to serve only a few carefully selected favorites. One of those happens to be these chocolate dipped marzipan balls. Together with our rocky road chocolate (updated recipe can be found in our cookbook), our soft gingerbread, and saffran mixed nuts we have a complete little holiday treat box.

Marzipan Balls Dipped in Dark Chocolate
(servings: 20 pcs)
1 ¾ cups almond flour
3 tbsp honey
2 tbsp canola oil
1 ½ tbsp water
a pinch of salt
few drops of vanilla
dark chocolate, at least 70% (we had 85% ice)
Run everything except for the chocolate and water together in the food processor. Wait a bit with the water and see how sticky the dough gets, if it seems a bit too dry, slowly add water until it comes together. Shape into balls and dip in melted dark chocolate. Let the balls harden in the ridge. Pro-tip: grating a bit of clementine zest into the mixer is a lovely combo with dark chocolate for an even chrismasier flavor.
