Raw 3-Ingredient Strawberry Balls
It’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which means we will be posting a pink recipe here on the blog every Friday starting today with … well, what’s under the kitchen towel?
Wait for it …
Voilà! Raw strawberry, cashew and coconut balls!
As you already know, we LOVE few-ingredient recipes and this one really hits the spot.
You can of course flavor the batter in a variety of ways: vanilla, cardamom, cinnamon, licorice powder and lemon to name a few. Or simply enjoy the balls as they are. Nothing wrong with a good old-fashioned strawberry, right?
Raw Strawberry Balls
(around 12 pieces – if you can resist tasting the batter)
1/2 cup frozen strawberries
1/2 cup raw cashew nuts
1/2 cup coconut flakes (+ some for rolling)
Add all ingredients to a high speed blender and mix. Scoop out small amounts of the mixture and roll into balls, then roll each ball in coconut. Eat right away or store in the freezer.
