Tasty Pimientos de Padrón for the Weekend
These simple, tasty padrón peppers are an easy Spanish tapas dish to make at home in your messy kitchen. Traditionally, these salty peppers should be pan-fried over high heat, but we will toss them with some olive oil and salt, and bake in the oven – for a little bit longer, at lower temperature.
But first, wash some bright-green peppers.
And then, use a towel to dry them.
Place the peppers on a baking sheet, and drizzle with olive oil. Then sprinkle with some salt from Ibiza.
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Fahrenheit (or 100 degrees Celsius). Roast the peppers. As always, we forgot to check the time. But you can easily set aside time for both laundry and the weekly vacuuming of the carpets, don’t you worry.
Mmm, looking forward to a nice cold beer a glass of water. Happy Friday!
