The summer’s tastiest and healthiest slush.
Important message to all parents concerned about their children’s ice cream consumption: give them watermelon slush instead.
Grab a piece of watermelon.
Peel, cut into cubes, and freeze.
Pulse the frozen cubes with 2 tbsp squeezed lime juice, and maybe some ice cubes, in a blender until slushy and grainy (not smooth, use the pulse button for greater control). Top with sparkling water, and, if you want a sweeter smoothie, go ahead and add a tiny bit of honey.
Play a game of chess with your child, and try to remain calm when the 9-year-old effortlessly kicks your ass.
